“Bhaarath Medical College, Chennai has been started with the aim and objective of creating world class health care delivery mechanism and teaching quality medical education on par with other institutions of eminence.

Our endeavour has always been to provide the best to the students and to prepare them to take up the challenges of tomorrow, so that when they come out of the institutions they are competent to handle the responsibilities of the medical profession in accordance with the prevailing standards of health care.

The attached tertiary care hospital, BMCH, Chennai with excellent patient care facilities, provides the students good opportunities to learn early clinical exposure, bedside manners and clinical skills. The rural maternity and child welfare homes that the institution intends to start will provide primary care facilities to the rural population and also provide an inside view of the rural health care management for the medical students. The Urban health center which we proposed to start will be providing community service at nearby urban localities and the students get ample opportunity to learn the basic clinical skills through the Department of Community Medicine.

The institution envisages to encourage students to involve in research and to obtain grants from various funding agencies, clinical trials and government sponsored research projects, private funded projects, which will provide an opportunity for the students, faculties and researchers to improve their research skills.
